WFAA leaving Victory Park and returning to it's old Young Street HQ

This announcement was made back in August, but the countdown is on for WFAA to give up the Victory Park studios in favor for a new studios at their old long time home building of the Young Street studios, WFAA moved their newscasts away from Young Street with exceptions of a few Newcasts from the old Young Street Studios which up until recently was using the sets they had dating back from the mid 2000s remodel. in fact in 2018, while the Victory Park Studios were getting their TEGNA 2018 graphics overhaul related makeover, the old Young Street studios were used, tonight during the 10PM weather segment, Pete Delkus said he's gonna miss the fans of the Mavs and Stars as the move is underway back to Young Street for good. the most lilkely reason for the move back to Young Street is, money, a studios at Victory Park is starting to get even more expensive it seems. now after WFAA leaves, i bet the space will either be converted to a bar/restaurant or office space or Bally's Sports Southwest just buys the WFAA studios for Stars and Mavs coverage so they won't be too far from the arena for Mavs and Stars games.

update, today's the last day at Victory Park for WFAA, they will move to a makeshift studios in the newsroom at Young Street while the new Studios are still being built. sounds likes the lease expires today and not December 31.

WFAA revealed the new set at their Young Street studios, but won't move in until next Tuesday as they want to debut it during the start of the February sweeps period

WFAA's new news studios made it's debut last Tuesday, in time for the start of February sweeps, but most of the debut week of the new studio was spent covering the Ice Storm that was arriving on Wednesday, and it did hit and it hit hard, but WFAA were able to deliver the coverage from their new studios and with reporters outside in key areas of known icy problems on the roads when winter storms of any kind hits.
