WGCL gets money shot in the Paula Deen ham incident

WGCL apparently had the only camera trained on Paula Deen when her and a volunteer were engaged in horseplay, and a ham was thrown to her face. She is OK. WGCL is the only station that has the ham-on-face on tape.

WSB-TV was interviewing Elisabeth Omilami, organizer of Hosea's Feed the Hungry (where Deen was volunteering) as the attack happened, so their camera was not on Deen. WAGA and WXIA's cameras (or camera) was far away, and the view was obstructed.

Apparently, WGCL still has some pride. I immediately went to YouTube to search for the video and when I went to this link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ht0w5rTTxpk), I was greeted with the message:

This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by WGCL-TV.

(By the way... may this be the only time I see the words "Paula Deen" and "money shot" in the same sentence...)

Flipping on my local independent TV station this morning and seeing the video.....

Am I the only person in America who didn't know, until this morning, who Paula Deen is? And....

Am I also the only person in America who wonders why this story was repeated several times locally then on at least two national 'newscasts'?
