WGN America to rebrand as NewsNation

The report doesn't seem to say anything about the dayside programming. Surely a network known as "NewsNation" isn't going to feature sitcom marathons to lead into the newscasts?

It might make sense to have a different name during the non-news times, and do it something like Nick/Nick at Nite or Cartoon Network/Adult Swim.

Mike Viqueira is moving from CBS Evening News to Nexstar according to this release.

I think that they shouldn't rebrand WGN America to News Nation until they got rid of all the off-net shows contracts are up and are a news channel 24/7 just my opinion. Which is going to be a 24-hour cable news channel.
