WGN Radio extends their in house traffic reporter shifts

According to a news story by Robert Feder from this morning, WGN Radio are extending the shifts of their two daytime traffic reporters Mary VanDeVelde, and Violeta Podrumedic, and they will be stopping the traffic reports that were previous heard by reporters from United States Traffic Network (USTN)/Radiate Media studios. Starting Monday Mary VanDeVelde will go on during the Bill Leff and Wendy Synder show which runs from 10:00-Noon, and Violeta Podrumedic will start at Noon so she will be doing the Wintrust Business Lunch with Steve Bertrand and also John Williams show in edition with her traffic reports during Roe Conn's show. So pretty much WGN Radio will have in house traffic reporter almost around the clock week days with the exception between 7-:00-10:00 PM Monday thur Friday nights as their overnight traffic reporter Esmeralda Leon her hours will be untouched. Friday nights are one of two off nights for Esmeralda Leon in less they have her helping filling in for one of their radio hosts.
