WGN Staffer Detained, Later Released By Border Patrol Agents In Lincoln Square

The woman was recording agents as they detained a man when they took her into custody, handcuffing her and putting her a van, according to witnesses and video. The agents drove into another car while driving away.

According to some of the reports the WGN staff member was detained by Ice agents. There has been multiple reports of Ice activity in the Chicago area prior to the WGN staff member facing the same issue.

According to the Border Patrol they alleged that the WGN-TV staff member "Threw an object at them" this is the lead up to being detained by Ice agents.
