First let me say thank you to the Masons for running a true "Original Legand of Detroit Radio, for the past 40 plus years.
I wish they would have held on to this true masterpiece of Good Radio that was left for Detroit. The playlist was ecletic and diverse...something that WDMK will never amount too.
Old School Saturdays on WGPR 107.5 was amazing,
songs like:
Benard Love: Who DO you Love
Brothers Johnson: Get the Funk out of my face
The Jacksons: Body
Why did the Masons decide to throw in the Towel....and why couldn't they sell it to someone Idependent of Corporate Boring Mainstream Radio. ???
WGPR was way more open with the Playlist than WDMK or WMXD. We've truly seen the last of Good Over the Air waves Radio.
Detroit just lost a piece of History.....Radio One has already Killed the WGPR website

All Radio One is going to do is play the same ol Rotation that is played on every one of their other Properties.
