Air America was never on GST; but you're correct, they are on their way out. ;D

How's the imaging? Do they promote what's coming up next/ coming up later today? Does the talent x-promote other dayparts via liners and promos? Since this is network programming, do they maximize local opportunities with creative/informative benchmark elements? All of this matters. You can't just throw out strong network programming and put it on auto-pilot.

Al_ATL had it right.. S I G N A L.

Same signal they had in 2005 before Bloomquist arrived and they had over twice the audience.

Same signal they had in 2002 when they had three times the ratings. (pre Marc Chase).

This is what I don't understand about Talk Radio in general. Studies are showing (of course I don't have the link) that people are getting SICK of politics. You can thank CNN, FoxNews, and all the other idiots out there that have decided we need to be in continuous election coverage (you know 2 weeks after Rudy/Hillary/Obama/Huckabee/whatever gets inaugurated they are going to start on the next election). The only good reaction is that people are straying away from political talk radio. So what's the answer...duh...MOVE away from Politics.

I like Ramsey's ad campaign in Talkers and others, but even money is a bit oversaturated in the talk radio market. We need more than just politics and money.

Until talk radio execs can figure that out, ratings will continue to slide*

*This whole theory goes out the window if we have another huge terrorist attack.
