What’s yo favorite hiphop station in 2025

I can't help but notice that this thread has only gotten a dozen replies in eight months ... and that @Brandon1993 has apparently changed his mind in that time.

I really wonder if hip-hop as an OTA format really has much life left in it. I already know of one station that is having difficulty with content and whose PD is constantly at odds with his GM, in a top 100 market. I think this is becoming more and more a problem, and devotees of the genre are likely looking to other platforms rather than seeking out a favorite station.

Here in market #2, the stations which program that music are all within the margin of error (in 6+) around 22nd place. That's not a rating that gets you much in the ways of agency buys ... and the bottom line in the accounting ledgers is the determining factor of viability.

The original question is quickly losing relevance in the real world.

I think this is part of why KPRS expanded with a classic R&B station on their HD2 and a translator (in addition to the competition from Magic 107.3/Power 105.1).
