What are the chances of KKXA 1520 expanding in the future?

I seem to be forgetting the exact time timeline of progress when it came to building KKXA. However, the signal seems to be covering the Seattle area pretty well. I'm picking up the daytime 50kw signal in Tacoma easily; I wish i could say the same for the nighttime signal. I suppose 1520am in Oregon City is preventing any chances of expanding the coverage. Are there any 1520's to the north that are also preventing expansion?

Actually no other 1520s north or west. But tons south and east. Ironically, they're not as strong as they should be north during the daytime.

I noticed on the old facebook page for CKMX (Classic Country 1060 Calgary) that many listeners are tuning in KKXA at night. I am assuming KKXA is easy to pick up in Eastern Washington, Alberta, etc.

I suppose. There are no 1520s in Canada. They BOOM in out over the Mount Baker Highway at night.

That's good to hear Calgary hasn't lost its Classic Country for good. I guess it's sort of payback, since 1060 was, and I assume still is, clear as a local in Seattle at night.

Now if only they could also cover western Washington a little better at night ;)

DAMN! That's a blowtorch east!
