What Dallas/Ft Worth radio stations from yesteryear do you miss?

I even miss Hot 100 when it launched as a rhythmic. That station brings back good memories. Me and my wife started dating a little after that station launched, and we both enjoyed listening to it. Now those are memories I wish I could relive...

There are a lot of stations I miss from yesterday.

- KJMZ 100.3 Jamz & KRBV Hot 100
- KOAI Smooth Jazz 107.5 The Oasis (Luckily, I have an HD Radio to continue listening to that format)
- KTXQ Q102
- KZZA Casa 106.7
- KMEO Memories 96.7 & KPMZ Platinum 96.7 (I maybe young, but I love some classics)
- KKZN 93.3 The Zone, KKMR Merge 93.3, & KDBN 93.3 The Bone
- KHKS Wild 106.1 HD2

The old WBAP from the '70s. Don Harris, Jimmy Stewart, Don Day, and weather with Harold Taft. And its sister station, the original KSCS 96.3 "Silver Country Stereo."

Also as others have mentioned, KMEZ 100.3 and 107.5.
And Ron Chapman's Platinum 96.7 KPMZ.
And the heyday of KVIL.
KNUS in the mid '70s (hard to receive in Eastland, but somehow I managed)

Those were the days.

106.7 KDL (Dance)
107.5 The Oasis (Smooth Jazz)
94.5 The Edge - the early years
105.3 KLLI with Jagger mornings and Russ afternoons
Merge 93.3 (AAA)
Short lived FM 93.3 (AAA)
Lisa Thomas on Mix 102.9

Platinum 96.7 - I really think the plug was pulled prematurely, it really seemed to be getting better when they killed it
Cowboy 1190 - This was a great Classic Country station
Mighty 1190 (Oldies) - Pretty Good When It Was Oldies
Smokin' 1160 - COOL Station
Live 105.3 - That was a cool one too.
Oldiez 92.1 - Great alternative to KLUV.
93.3 The Bone - as much as it sucked, I actually miss it now.
Z-Rock - Now C'mon we need this one back. Whether it was 94.5 or 99.1
Oldies 94.9 - Fun Station
Y 95 - Another cool one
KZEW 97.9 - The ZOO! (Arrow was cool too)
Q102 - Cool One
KVIL - The Original was much better than "Lite"s mess

"I cast my vote for "The Dallas Dandy/The Ft. Worth Wonder" "...we're on top all the rest are under (-standably upset), you bet your bottom buck, ain't no beginner's luck...

Whether in Fort Worth or Dallas ...we're the one one hears....K-V-I-L...we've got you by the ears." I haven't heard that jingle in forever, but its indelibly etched.

I agree I miss Z-Rock too

It's morning & I miss Ron Chapman's show. Listened to him often on KVIL & KLUV.
