What do you guys and gals think of louie 104.3???

Rocky n troy could still do mornings at 105.1 and call it rocky n troy n da hood r rocky n troy n da ville lol
Maybe George Lindsey could do mornings on Old School 105.1 since he knows SO much about HipHop LOL
If Rocky and Troy had a show called "Rocky and Troy N Da Ville" it would have to be on WLCL 93.9 now :)

Perhaps W&B Broadcasting should fill this classic hits hole with a second station... they have WAKY, but WAKY (as mentioned here time and time again) appeals to a much older demographic than even a traditional classic hits station. WAKY unapologetically plays songs that are older than any target demographic audience and are much more of an oldies station than classic hits. I know that the "oldies" name evolved into "classic hits," but the fact of the matter is that the format itself transitioned into much newer stuff with that name evolution. WAKY, on the other hand, does play some stuff from the late 70s and 80s and such, but they can't leave behind the 50s and 60s either.

They've got WTUV which is still airing the Spanish format and seemingly makes no sense at all for them, but of course, WTUV has that FM translator that is still waiting to be built and turned on. Perhaps they could move WAKY to WTUV (and use that FM translator as well) and focus on the 50s, 60s, and early 70s and put a classic hits station that doesn't scream "the station your parents listen to" where WAKY is now, something that goes more 70s, 80s, and possibly even early 90s. Honestly, they could do it without stepping on their own toes. I have a feeling that changing the WAKY calls to WAKY-FM was a sign that they may change WTUV to WAKY anyway... I just hope that doesn't mean that they're planning to spread that exact same "oldies" station across three signals.

I've been thinking the same thing. Seems like they're waiting for the translator to come on line before doing anything with the AM.
