That's a shame. You would think that Tallahassee would have a better variety of formats on the AM dial.
Wish my hometown had a better variety on its AM dial. However, I'm stuck with these choices.
1310 AM (Blues, Soul, Talk and Black Gospel) (A New Station that's Moving from Marion Alabama)
1340 AM (Talk, News and Oldies on Weekends)
1490 AM (Talk, News and Black Gospel at night and Sundays)
Also included is various background noises. (Humming, Distortion, Added Hisses, Loud Static and making the song sound like it has skips in it) (Those last three are brought to me, through the courtesy of 1340 AM, during their Oldies Block and now on 1490 AM, during their Black Gospel Block)
If you were to listen to 1340 AM and/or 1490 AM, their entire presentation would tick you off. I can't stand all the noise these two stations have. Even when they add their own noise to the broadcast, that makes it sound 10x worse, that what it was already.
I feel for you Radioboy and other posters from Tallahassee. Wish the AM dial had more variety and a better sound quality.

P.S. Even small town radio, like in Selma Alabama, has it bad on its AM dial.
