I listen to WOMG-FM Oldies streaming over the internet on an ever-increasing basis. What has happened to Sugar Ray of the Woody Windham And The Goodies Morning Show??? He was with Woody for several years and I think that they were even calling the show "Woody And Sugar Ray In The Morning" in recent times. I know that I heard Sugar Ray on the show back in December. Last week, he wasn`t on the show, but his info was still on the WOMG-FM website. Now he is gone. What happened???

By the way, Ray was also known as "Rockin` Ray" on WOMG-FM if that helps. Does anyone know why he first vanished from Woody`s show and then a week or two later his bio disappeared from the WOMG Oldies website? I liked listening to Ray and am shocked that he is gone! He and Woody worked well together!

On yesterday's show, Woody was asked by a listener on air and he said "Ray resigned but I don't know the reason why".

Thanks for the update!! Very strange that Woody didn`t know what happen, but I know that he would have said if he knew. There are those out there who think that Ray was trying to overtake Woody and take his job????? Was this true???? I know that WOMG DOES NOT want to loose Woody Windham!!!!

Love Woody, but losing Woody is inevitable, eventually. Although that will probably by no earlier than 20 years from now. I predict Woody will be on the air well into his 90's and still sound great.

There will only be one Woody and I have been listening to him since I was a kid when he was on in the mornings at WCOS 1400 and then was the one that saw the need for a good FM country station and totally revitalized WCOS-FM in the mid-1970's. I am sure that he will be shagging and rocking well into his 90's.
