What happened to the Lew and Mike Show on 1510?

As I've posted in a previous topic, I appreciate the Lew and Mike Show, morning drive on 1510. Can't stand DandC, but even more insufferable are the vacation B teamers. John Rook, are you kidding me!! Just goes to prove that the EEI brand is so strong that it doesn't matter who they put under a set of headphones, they still pull the big numbers. Makes you wonder why Entercom pays out all the dough to their on air talent, when they have jammed lines with callers every minute they broadcast, even if it's Larry Johnson or Lenny Megliola or Butch Stearns or John Wallach in the "big chair." But 1510 the Zone has been airing Dave Smith on Sporting News Radio in the Lew and Mike time slot, which is weekday mornings from 7-9 or 7-10. Has this show died? Help me, I much prefer these guys to EEI. Any info would be apprecieted. It's a really good show, or maybe I should be saying it WAS a really good show.
 
Look at all the "mainstream" stations that had guest hosts, D-listers or "Best of..." shows all week. Perhaps these guys felt that they deserve a vacation until MMVIII. Check again January 2nd.
 
they said they were taking Monday and Tuesday off and I figured they'd be back on Wed. I hope they're back this coming week because, besides "Mike and Mike," there's no other sports show in the morning.

espn's the wimp and the blimp show won't be on there too much longer. and the local afternoon tool who bashed the pats all season is already talking to jason about fill-in work....

that is called being objective.

some people...those older than 14 and those with an iq over 75....dont care to constantly listen to those with moss poo on their nose or those with an annoying and somewhat disturbing man-crush on tom brady.

and by the way, i like dale and holley....but if they kiss wilfork's butt this week after his eye poke in last night's game, ill lose respect for them.

Felgy's persona is being a tool... and it's funny to listen to Mike Vrabel tear him a new one every time he's on.
I agree that the hosts on WEEI do take that approach. I couldn't stand Smerlas and Sheppard last night so I put on WBCN, where, even though they do the games, it seems a tad more objective.
 
Sonic Al, I called the station this morning. The phone rang 30 times, but one of the producers finally answered. He said the Lew and Mike Show will be back Monday, Jan 7. He said something vague about conflicts this week. But he said they're back for sure on Monday.
I was glad to hear that.
 
im not a regular listener of 1510.

i tuned in a week or so ago during the midday and heard some show called 'touching all bases' it was mildly interesting, with some obscure hockey trivia.

but the host had a horribly obnoxious accent. i mean...horrible. it would make the average person in revere sound sophisticated!

that accent is definitely over the top. I listen when WEEI is in break...
 
Lew and Mike are back and Anthony Pepe (who was at WEEI some years back and co-hosted a show on WWZN a few years ago) was on with them, as well. I didn't tune in until after 8. Did anyone hear the earlier part of the show and hear if they had any explanation?
