what if Thee End had a 20th anniversary and no one posted anything about it

Okay I'll bite... Could it be because other than you nobody cares? Very few average listeners of a station today don't care about the history of a station. Some of them weren't even alive or were in diapers twenty years ago so there is no frame of reference.

'Is the station playing music that I recognize?' 'Hopefully this DJ will stop talking soon and get back to playing music.' That is what the vast majority of what listeners are thinking, not; 'Gee I wonder when this particular station anniversary is going to take place?'

I don't know. I really liked what was on the KISW site and enjoyed the interviews with some of the former jocks. Maybe because of my age (my username is a give away), I'm nostalgic for those days (the beginning of The End, The X, KISW, etc.)

THe End has been mostly a straight ahead music station. A good one too.It hasnt been loaded too much with jocks and personality we remember from the good ol' days of some of the earlier rockers, and thats where the nostalgia stuff really comes into play in radioland.
Like them or not..they've held it together.

TheEnd has always been very in tune with the Alt crowd and they might not ever be setting the world on fire they certainly do keep doing what they do and that is play good music without a lot of clutter...
