Then keep in mind, there could otherwise be a much worse future for this station. After all, at least there would be a CHANCE one might occasionally find something interesting to hear.

(Do they still have the fellow who does the live remote by duct-taping his cell-phone to the DJ speakers at a "speak easy" before hanging up on himself when the show ends in the middle of the night? I always thought that was a real humdinger.)
 
One thing we can be sure of is that John would make it a profitable station. He knows radio and how to turn it into revenue.

Morning drive is "Senior Matters" - AC Oldies and a guy selling reverse mortgages.

Radio for people who remember the glory days of Wibbage, when they sold a brokered hour to a car dealer who wanted to play Top 40 DJ. Harold B. Robinson was terrible but his money was good.
 
Who is the morning guy on WNJC? Andy Cortman?

I would believe they have a lot of listeners for the program as it's hard to find a station that plays easy listening oldies. The irony is a station with that exact format is #1 in Tampa Bay, FL - WDUV

Not according to their website but Cortman's show brokered, too. AC ain't standards. WDUV is "soft AC." And Tampa is where Midwesterners go to die. AC Oldies or soft AC is something older listeners will tolerate and which will still generate numbers in the money demos.
