What Indiana Stations got Knocked off the air due to the Winter Storm

Knocked off the air? Why?

The Channel 8 site has emergency power as do the studios at N Meridian.

Did it take that long for someone to clear snow from a satellite dish?

There was ice but not enough to raise vswr on the antenna of most stations in the area.

well WZPL had nothing on the air i dont know if it was dead carrier or not but i know there was no Music, Current Affair Programing or Commercials on the air from around 3:30am till 1pm in the afternoon

Hmmm......it was off the air for a long time. If only there were a device or computer program that would activate an alarm or, bear with me, would automatically call management or an "on call person" when modulation or carrier were absent. Gee....if only such a device existed.
