I heard some station playing all dance music on 106.5,,, the coverge was all the way from downtown, down I-64 almost to Simsonville, but the signal is very week every where you go. Is this a pirate, or was I maybe following someone with an FM modulator in the car, their were no I.Ds or DJs talking, just like the other dance pirate that used to be on 99.3. Could this be the same guy????

I don't know but he'd better be off the air by the time I get to the office.

hehe Greg,, Did you find him on air? Ive got a little station, but its a Part 15,,, it only goes about 200 ft..

I heard the dance music on 106.5 tonight in Louisville near the Outer Loop area. The signal wasn't very strong, but the stereo light was on my car radio.
Never heard any talk, just music. Wonder where it is coming from?

I have been hearing the dance music on 106.5 since this past summer. I was assuming it was same person who was broadcasting dance music on 99.3 a few years ago. Maybe he switched to 106.5 when "KMO Country" moved to 99.3. I remember someone mentioning that the 99.3 signal peaked in the Cherokee area. I can pick up 106.5 fairly well on I-65 near the hospital curve.

I rather enjoy this station, its the only station in the ville worth listening to really. The 99.3 peaked around just south of downtown and had a really good signal from 265 north in Indiana, all the way down to the Gene Snyder 265 south.. The 106.5 seems to be east of there, and doesnt have nearly the power that 99.3 had, but im guessing its the same person. Its just like an Ipod on Shuffle, but cheer's to the guy who is doing it... And Greg,, be nice,,, who is he hurting, its a clean processed and not overmodulated signal,, he isnt playing music with cursing, he isnt advertising, he is just entertaining,, its pretty good when a small time pirate op with an ipod has the best station in a metro city.

I know the answer, but I'm not telling! :) Maybe I should say I knew the answer at one time, but not really sure if its still the case. I'm curious to see if the all- powerful radio execs can figure this out. I will explain how I know, if, or when, highly paid communication experts can solve this issue!

He's never on the air that I've heard.
