Is it terrestial, satellite, or Internet radio?

Give me the who, what, when, where, why and how?

Journalism 101 :)

Or ... are there technological advances on the horizon that you have dreamed up?

What do you think?

My best guess is that satellite and terrestrial will be the dominant forms of audio broadcasting, with satellite eventually leading. Terrestrial won't be going away in our lifetimes.

That said, while internet "broadcasting" will remain specialized, it will be overshadowed by new forms of entertainment delivery to ipods, podcasts, etc. These will also compete with satellite and terrestrial. Entertainment consumers will see ipods, etc. and "radio" as equal forms, much like folks see cable and satellite TV as essentially the same thing.

Internet radio is growing at a fast clip. Wi-Max will propel
I-Radio to a new level. It actually has more potential than
Satellite.

I agree. 5-6 years from now or sooner, the potential ability to take your favorite station or stations anywhere you want and at any distance may upstage satellite. The biggest advantage will be for AM stations.

I really think it will be a mix of all 3 below.....the L.A market will see more spanish and aisian formats dominating.....i also see more HD radio stations too.
