What is the worst and most obnoxious commercial on Boston radio?

Some ads use basically the same copy but different regions.Dick Orkin (sounded like him)
did ads for "BostonHelpWanted dot com" or something like that while in another region it'd be NorthCountryHelpWanted or something

No, I'm not happy, Norm. iHeart let go of Michael Coleman when WBZ moved out of 1170 SFR. Really. Dumb. Move. In addition to his oftentimes zany creativity in creating ad copy of station imaging, Michael could do many voices. With Michael pretty much gone, we now have bland. Bostonians with severely bad accents should not be allowed on the radio UNLESS their accents have been suppressed some 60 dB or more. A Noo Yawk accent is less grating on the ears.

Disclaimer: I do not hail from either Boston or New York.
I agree, Iheart's best feature is making the worst programming and personnel decisions.
I AM from NY, and I have only a trace of the accent

Eeeewwwwwwwwwww! It was creepy enough when Limbaugh's show had the "guide hosts" and all they did was replay clips of Limbaugh for for what?? 4+ months?. On Howie's show just now, Kelly Financial is doing the same thing, playing old clips of Bill Kelly who passed away three? four years ago?? Ewwwwwwww!

At least iHeart didn't render WBZ's format to the point where it was unrecognizable. To their credit, they kept may familiar voices and even added new ones. However, they should've kept LIVE overnight talk. Pre-recorded news overnight is something Entercom (they're STILL Entercom to me) has been doing with their stable of the former CBS O&O news/talkers, and that's another sad story.

One that once got me on the radio was a Coca-Cola ad, where a woman stated that Coke and food goes together. That was the whole point of the ad. My reaction to it was "as compared to when someone is huffing paint fumes? I thought that was when they should have a Coke. You mean they should have been drinking it when they eat food all this time?"

Reminds me of those bad McDonald's commercials over a decade ago that claimed "how to speak Boston." The one guy had to prove that he was really a true Bostonian, with stupid lines like "(New Yahk-achusetts)", and the other guy answerd "Connecticut." At the end, the guy "examining" states "Best Broadway play," and they both answer Wicked. Only time I ever contemplated breaking my TV. I remember yelling to anyone who listened that although I don't drink coffee, that ad did more to make me never try it again, than it did to peak my interest.

Nothing worse than when an out of touch fool at an ad agency gets an idea of how to appeal to a particular region. Areas with particular accents always fall victim to that.
