WZNT is oldies.

I'm going to go with WJPA 95.3, Washington, PA, which is IN the Pittsburgh metro and is WAY better than whatever 3WS is masquerading as nowadays (it's sort of in between a soft AC, a Jack/Bob, and a classic rock--with demo ratings to match their schizophrenia).

Notice, also: Top 25 markets, only 20 have (I assume by this list, a full market?) oldies station.

Of those 20, eleven (11) are owned by CBS. Interesting.

Thank you for the listing, it was a source for reference. The only error is The Washington DC Market. WBIG is longer BIG 100. They are Classic Rock. Back in May of 2006, they fired all the on air staff, and got ride of the Motown, soul, and pop hits. Plus the one thing I liked about the station was the show Night Train which was carried late Sunday Night.

KOOL 94.5 Phoenix ( THE REAL KOOL, as those are actually its call letters)

and while U R on the subject---what the HELL is this "kool" with a K thing? wasn't that a cigarette about 40 yrs ago? why in the heck would a station pick a name that's spelled incorrectly? the "cool" with a C, which is properly spelled makes sense.

Because these are its actual call letters and have been for many many years. Their old slogan was "Its KOOL in the Valley" (Phoenix metro is knows as the Valley of the Sun), and being cool in such a hot locale as Phoenix sounds good. There was once a KOOL TV Channel 10 too, and its sister station in Tucson , was KOLD! Why would you call or spell yourself COOL when your call letters are KOOL?

not just them. there have been a bunch of Kool with a K oldies stations around for 20 yrs

supposed U can give a pass to phoenix............not the rest. it's like these stupid small businesses naming themselves things like "karla's korner kitchen". moronic, redneck, stupid

Doubt if Cincinnati is part of the top 25 markets anymore, but if you want to listen to a great oldies station, try www.oldies1160.com in the Queen City. They are trying to make a go of it from a little AM weak powered station in Northern Ky, but they have a great sound.

"None of the above"! (Until the day when "you know what" freezes over and WDJO cracks the top 25 markets.)

Not a fan of WOGL. Fav used to be WCBS-FM.

Now, although it's not in a big market, I've accidentally pulled in a station on 92.1 from Fenwick Island DE (NOT Vineland, NJ) called "The Wave". HUGE library, WIDE rotation, low spot load, and live local talent during the day. A lot of forgotten songs.

KQQL-FM 107.9 Minneapolis "KOOL 108" is now playing a great number of 80s songs, some 70s, and very little 60s.

CHWO 740, Toronto.

EXACTLY MY MUSIC! and a blowtorch signal, and streaming! They are quite a mix of 40's through 70's.

Ditto. Their Prime Time Bandstand show on Friday nights is outstanding.
