We were thinking about moving to this area and we wondered what kind of salary would a Morning Team be looking at. Can anyone help us?
Thanks

I think it depends on your experience. Markets you may have worked, etc. I know as a OM/PD I have paid my morning person as much as 65k per year. Please don't quote me on this as I am no longer in the market. My advice to you, is to discuss your salary requirements with any potential employer. I doubt, and would be surprised if any morning show in ENC is either under contract or making a 6 figure salary.

Remember, we ain't in this business for the $$$. Good Luck!

Thanks Kris. I would love six figuers but that's only because I like to dream. What you told me sounds pretty good. We curently kick some serious butt in the market we're in and would like to move to a larger market in a warmer climate. From what I hear the cost of living is less down there than here in the Northeast so that's a big plus too, if that's true. Any tips or warnings for me? Oh and I totaly agree, I do it for the love but I got this thing about eating a few times a day. ;D

Dude, don't go spoiling yourself in that other market.
Eating a few times a day like that....what are you thinking??????? ??? ??? ;D

You also have to consider the cost of living in Eastern NC! Housing costs are pretty low compared to the rest of the world. I doubt there are a lot of six figure opportunities in the region!
