What of the WBOT-97.7 airstaff? (WILD-FM)

I was listening to the "slow jams" last night...sounded automated with no DJ.

Anyone know the status of the WBOT airstaff?

Here is a listening of the WBOT staffers:

BTW...I saw the blurb in the Globe about the WBOT/WILD_FM change.

Did anyone see anything in the Herald?

I couldn't find it in paper or web versions.

Off topic, but what did you think of "The Quiet Storm"? I found it quite refreshing, unlike the snoozefests of "Delilah" and "Bedtime Magic". It reminded me a bit of a vocal-heavy smooth jazz station.

DJ Chubby Chub will still be on, going from some time in the hip-hop block until 10:00PM, when "The Quiet Storm" of slow jams begins.

DJ Chubby Chub was speaking with "Coach" Willie Maye, and he'll still be on the station.

I also heard a staffer from 2:00PM who was on likely until Chubby Chub came on. He didn't introduce himself, but he did hype the new concept, took requests, did some shoutouts.

All Access was reporting that the PD of WBOT, LBD, will still be staying with the cluster, but did not report what he will be doing.

I wonder if Praise 1090 will be getting an airstaff? Atlanta's WPZE-FM has an airstaff, and it's one of the highest rated stations in the market. However, Radio One does seem to be slow at getting airstaffs, as Philadelphia's WPPZ-FM has been on since February 25th, and is yet to get any on air personalities.

Herald had it in the Inside Track on Thu I think

Heard Jammin' Joe Johnson (formerly host of the Caribbean Cruise on WILD-AM and fill-in on WILD-AM) hosting the Time Tunnel Block Party last night from 6 to 10 PM on the new WILD-FM...
