What Other Shows Would You Like To See On MeTV?

Bewitched, was on TV Land but don't see much of it anymore

With Bewitched being in the Sony library, it would likely appear on Antenna TV before MeTV. In Chicago, it airs on MeToo, since Weigel has the Chicago rights to the show.

I can't believe no one has mentioned "Green Acres". I think the rights are owned by MGM, so it may end up being shown on This Tv. You can catch a few glimpses of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas on "Petticoat Junction" in crossover episodes. This show is too funny not to be in syndication! I think the last time it was aired was in the 90s on CBN, and those were horribly faded and scratched film versions. Me-TV needs to also broadcast the black and white episodes of "Petticoat Junction". I think there were over 60 episodes during the first 2 seasons that aren't being aired.

The Wayans Brothers ;D

Centric has broadcast "The Wayans Bros." recently, but I cannot access their programming due to it being available on a higher programming tier for Comcast customers. I would not mind Me-TV presenting the series sometime in the distant future; it was one of the funniest programs I've ever seen along with "Mama's Family".

Seriously though, wouldn't The Wayans Bros. have a better chance going to Bounce? I can't see it following Mary Tyler Moore.

I agree...The Wayans Brothers were one of the very few shows I watched regularly from The WB, but as it stands now, it's kinda over-saturated with multiple airings every weeknight on MTV2 and Centric. Of course, I realize that not everyone has access to one or both of those networks. I hope that if Bounce acquires the series, they would have the original network edits (much like what TV One has with Martin, and Oxygen has with Living Single).

I was reading that some of the first 2 season Petticoat Junction episodes are in the public domain, & can't technically air those episodes fully intact, due to the music still being copyrighted. Other issues have kept the black & white episodes from being available in syndication. CBS does hold the rights to the color episodes. CBS also holds the rights to the episodes released from season 3 to the cancellation (seasons 1 & 2 are in the public domain). As for Green Acres, I'm surprised that show is part of the MGM library, despite Petticoat Junction & Beverly Hillbillies also part being shows produced by Filmways (the original producers of those shows). So that show could end up on This TV. I know from time to time in Chicago, it's shown on MeToo.

The entire channel.

Wish WAKA would go on ahead and put them on.

My long wait might soon be over.

Hope it is.

my advice to MeTv.. i LOVE the late 50's early 60's shows.. IF you move into the 70's & 80's shows you will become just like TV Land and Nickelodeon, PLUS... most of those shows were in syndication not long ago and played to DEATH.. when you can put back on television shows like The Untouchables, dobie gillis, the rebel & Lost in Space, The Wild Wild West,Mission Impossible ...they were untouched by Tv land & Nick so they're NEW again! to a large portion of the audience, and Me-Tv BECOMES a REAL alternative to the same crap that was seen not long ago. Please continue to be DIFFERENT.

I agree with Whodat. A lot of the programming on ME-TV has either disappeared from syndication or it has been many years since Nick At Nite or TV Land have run them. That's ME-TV niche. We don't need to see Charlies's Angels, the A Team, Little House , or Miami Vice. They have been run into the ground on other channels. I wouldn't mind seeing St. Elsewhere or Hill Street, though.

Green Acres was on both TV Land and I (PAX) about 10 years ago. I haven't seen it since.
