What Radio Station Would be Ideal for a Memorial Day Radio Rewind in the area ?

WABC in New York has been doing their WABC Rewound show on Memorial Day for the last 5 or so years now, WLS in Chicago has begun their WLS Music Radio Live Rewind show for a few years by bringing their DJ's back on the radio. The question is can the Hudson Valley or Albany area devote one radio station for a local Rewound radio show ?
I thought of a few stations that would be good for old time radio such as
WGY, WKIP, WSPK.

Good question. The heritage Top 40 AM stations of Albany are long gone. WPTR found jesus and the original WTRY-AM is now sports WOFX. Perhaps WTRY-FM....

Depends on where you are in the region.
Albany: 980 or 1540 (ex TRY or ex PTR)
Hudson: WHUC
Kingston: WBPM (in the absence of long-gone WBAZ)
Poughkeepsie: WHVW
Orange County: WALL

Re: What Radio Station Would be Ideal for a Memorial Day Radio Rewind in the are

How about a "B-94" rewind, that would be an idea, let's bring the WBPM calls back to 94.3 for one day and then go back to 92.9. They should play some top 40 from back in the "B-94" days like MC Hammer, Boyz II Men, Prince, CeCe Peniston, Debbie Gibson, New Kids on the Block and many other favorites from the 80's and 90's when WBPM's "B-94" was a top 40 station from 1984 until 1999.

To add that to the mix, bring back CJ, Downtown Lou Brown, Carl Dayton, Mike Vincent and many other former "B-94" jocks for a reunion. That would be a great idea in honor of Memorial Day.

Can anyone organize in contacting some of these radio stations to see if a Rewind show is possible ? I would think WTRY, WGY might consider such a show since they know these shows are being tried out around the market.
