What show is replacing Oprah at your station when she finishes on May 25th?

Minneapolis-St. Paul -- Oprah reruns til September; then Ellen moves from 9am on WCCO to the old Oprah slot, 4pm on WCCO. No word what goes into the 9am spot.

Apparently, Dr. Oz was on The View and said that he would take over Oprah's spot...

Only in some markets. Like here (Cleveland), where Scripps is moving him into the 4 PM Oprah slot...they're also putting him in Oprah's time slot in Detroit.

Others are taking other options, as detailed in this very thread.

In Milwaukee, WISN is replacing Oprah at 4 with Dr. Oz (which currently airs on WDJT). In addition, they're also replacing Dr. Phil at 3 with Ellen (which also airs on WDJT). So the biggest loser in Milwaukee from Oprah's departure is WDJT.

North of the border, CTV is putting Anderson Cooper's new show in Oprah's old time slot (that show will also air on CTV Two, the former A network).

WEWS/5 Cleveland: As far as I know, "Dr. Oz" starts the Monday after the last "Oprah" rerun in September.

Have any of you seen the promo where Oprah introduces Dr. Oz as her replacement? Of course, it'll only air in markets where Dr. Oz takes the time slot, like the Scripps stations...

WTAE has run "Dr. Oz's" spots but has to do so judiciously -- that show still runs on both WPXI and its Pittsburgh Cable News Channel until the Oprah reruns run out.

In the Quad Cities, The Oprah Winfrey Show has been on at 3 P.M. on KWQC for as long as I can remember, followed by Jeopardy and then the local Paula Sands Live. However, it'll become a "sandwich" of sorts come September....

"Watch Dr. Oz...but not until September!" :D

Here, WEWS has no such problem, as Dr. Oz is on WEWS already. He's on at 10 AM, and they'll actually keep that after he takes over Oprah's 4 PM slot.

I wonder when Dr. Oz tapes?

I assume that the current 10 AM showing is whatever they tape the previous day, and I can't imagine WEWS running "first run" for the day at 10 AM, then repeating at 4 PM in the old Oprah time slot, if that's not the case.

Currently, Oprah reruns are airing on WCTV at 4:00 and WCTV (6.2) at 10pm... The station has been quiet about its fall line up thus far.

As I kind of expected, WGAL (NBC for the Harrisburg/York/Lancaster/Lebanon market), per a promo I saw, will be moving Dr. Oz into Oprah's old 4pm spot come September (I don't remember the date tho). He currently airs at 11am, so I'm not sure what they'll do to plug that hole. I can't help wondering if another Oprah spinoff (Nate Berkus, currently on WHTM) will jump channels..

In Columbus, Ohio; Dr.Oz airs currently airs at 9am on abc affiliate WSYX-TV and Oz will move to WBNS-10TV in the Oprah time slot at 4pm in Sept.

It funny because in fall of 1991, Oprah moved from WSYX which at that time aired Oprah at 5pm and moved to WBNS for 4pm times slot. 20yrs later Oprah replacement moves from the abc affiliate to the cbs affiliate.

In Detroit Dr.Oz will move from WDIV to WXYZ at 4pm

Unless they say otherwise, KTVF may, may move Ellen DeGeneres from 5:00 to 3:00 (Oprah's former slot) in September.

But then again, they may have a problem pitting her opposite Judge Judy (on K13XD), who has beaten Oprah in the ratings since last year.

WHAS 11 in Louisville Ky. will replace Oprah with a 4PM local newscast. That means that local news will be on WHAS from 4PM until 6:30 PM each weekday.
