WHAT SHOWS WOULD YOU RENEW or CANCEL FOR THE 2007-2008 SEASON?

Any shows for broadcast/cable network or syndication?

Personally, I think ABC should pull the plug on According to Jim!

Another List:

PLEASE CANCEL:
ABC: What About Brian?
CBS: Jericho, The Class
NBC: Grease: You The One...
CW: One Tree Hill

PLEASE KEEP
NBC: 30 Rock

MIDSEASON REPLACEMENT
CBS: The New Adventures of Old Christine

PLEASE CANCEL
ABC: Men in Trees, What About Brian?
CBS: The New Adventures of Old Christine
NBC: Crossing Jordon, Medium, Grease: You The One That I Want
CW: One Tree Hill (What a bad show)
, The Game
FOX: The OC ( ohh, wait wish granted! )

PLEASE KEEP
ABC: Knights of Prosperity
NBC: 30 Rock
CBS: Jericho
CW: Everybody Hates Chris
FOX:

I agree with everybody that According To Jim should be cancelled.

Why ABC thinks it's still funny when it wore out it's welcome in I don't know 2001.

But have faith, ABC knows that it has a load of crap it needs to get rid of if it

want to prove it's not a hat trick network (Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition=No Lost because I think it has sucked since
it came back)

ABC World News is the top ranked newscast and they have ESPN so that's the

good spots. Now here is what I think will be or should be gone by 2007-08

ABC: George Lopez (That's still on), In Case of Emergency, How about all of their

sitcoms, America's Funniest Home Videos (Worn out it's welcome), Men In Trees

(Actually it will be canned sooner than later), 6 Degrees (diddo), What About
Brian? (What About Monday Night Raw and CSI Miami ::)

and, I hate to say it, but Boston Legal must go.

NBC: Law & Order is a triple cancer that must be stopped :D Other than that, they

need to be patient with what they have becuase nothing will change for at least

until the summer of 2008 when they have The Olympics, and February 2009 when

they will broadcast their first Super Bowl in 11 years.

FOX: American Dad (Don't get It), The Winner, URRRH, The Loser, ;D The War At Home, King of The Hill, The Wedding Bells, The Loop, The Lot

CBS: The Class, The New Adventures of Old Christine (IT'S NOT FUNNY ???), How I Met

Your Mother (Don't Get It), Ghost Whisperer That's IT!

I'm not even going to try the CW or My Network because their small compared to

the others. And their way more into demos than the other four. So what you reap

is what you so I say ;D

Someone wished for Medium to be cancelled.
Somehow, Medium is doing too well to be cancelled.
I don't mind it. ("mind" :D no pun intended!)
I just wish there could be more realistic content to go with the visions.

Remember the first episode? It opened with the claim (in words, on the screen) "There really is an Allison, really..."

Somewhere along the way the show drifted into a nowhere land of unreal desperateness to survive on a Wednesday night.

My vote to keep is pending.

Please cancel America's funniest home videos. It's starting to look more and more like an hour long ad for You tube (or something)

I'm :-X for now about all the other shows because I find it's a much shorter read if I just say I love gameshows very much.
(that's gameshows, not reality tv...let's not mix that up!)

If I must mention reality tv,
I wouldn't mind seeing a "No gross stunts...we promise" fear factor, if there's any stunts that havn't already been done.
(I really hated the gross stunts...and at last check the show was only "on the bubble"...could be a good summer filler...?)

I'm willing to continue watching the rest of the current Survivor, but I doubt another season will get my attention.

It would be great if *someone* could bring back the mole...but who would be the host?

Please keep: DOND, Are you smarter than a fifth grader, 1 vs 100 and Identity.

Cancel

FOX: King of the Hill (time to hang it up allready), American Idol (I don't care how well it does), The Loser, War at Home

MY NETWORK TV - No Further Comment Neccessary

CBS: How I met your mother

NBC: ER (Hang it up allready)

ABC: In Case of Emergency, Men in Trees, According to Jim

Keep in mind there may be more that I think should be cancelled, but I'm not to familar with the lineups.

Syndication:

Greg Bernhardt, Dr. Keith, I Village Live (airs on NBC O&O's), Jerry Springer (time to hang it up already).

Wish to be cancelled:

CBS: Rules Of Engagement, The Class, New Adventures Of Old Christine, Survivor, Big Brother, How I Met Your Mother
NBC: The Apprentice
ABC: Dancing With The Stars
FOX: American Idol, Smarter Than A 5th Grader
Syndie: Christina's Court, Greg Bernhardt(already been cancelled)

As I mentioned on the Classic TV board, "Soul Train" has been on the bubble as of late, thus classic episodes have been shown this season in lieu of new ones. Back in the day, the show was the one-stop place for the hottest Soul/R&B/hip-hop acts, but with the explosion of cable and the Internet, it's slowly dying. Case in point: Many winners at the recent Soul Train Music Awards were no-shows (Jennifer Hudson -- fresh off her Oscar win for Dreamgirls -- was almost one of them, but Don Cornelius immediately had Clive Davis on the phone telling Hudson to get her rear end to the show), and these days are better off attending the BET Awards.

As for the other shows...
American Idol--CANCEL (it's already becoming "Everybody Hates Sanjaya")
The Amazing Race--KEEP
WWE Raw--CANCEL (I don't care if it's USA's highest-rated show, but its numbers went from 6's and 7's in 1999-2000 to now 3's and 4's. Also, John Cena still as WWE champion has had many loyal fans defecting to TNA)
ECW on Sci-Fi--CANCEL (bringing back ECW as a third WWE brand was a bad idea)
The Simpsons--KEEP...that is, depending on how well The Simpsons Movie fares in the box office
Access Hollywood--CANCEL (it has went downhill with Billy Bush replacing Pat O'Brien)
America's Funniest Home Videos--CANCEL or give the hosting duties to either Samantha Harris or Maria Menounos (YouTube's been killing the show)
Dancing with the Stars--KEEP
Survivor--KEEP
The whole My Network TV--CANCEL!!!!
Jerry Springer--CANCEL; the show used to be hot (it even beat Oprah in the ratings) but not anymore

But there's one show that won't be coming back, though things have went to, uh, hell after Jessica Biel left: 7th Heaven!!!

I wish "American Idol" would just go away. Sadly, FOX will never part with this extremely-overpromoted glorified Karaoke contest. FOX should also get rid of that "The Winner" sitcom. Seth MacFarlane should just concentrate on "Family Guy" (the only FOX show I give a crap about!).

NBC should get rid of "E/R" and that "Grease" show. I also think the "Law And Order" franchise has run its course.

CBS could do away with "Survivor", which help spark the reality glut we're stuck with today.

ABC without the tie-ins of ESPN would be nice. Thank you Disney for ruining ESPN! :(

CW should put "WWE Smackdown!" back on Thursdays where it belongs. "7th Heaven" should never have come back at all. (Even though I do love Beverley Mitchell!) I hope "Veronica Mars" will be back for a 4th season! :)

Perhaps Mytv should change thier name to Ironic tv?
Very Ironic that "Mytv" is the name, but it's anything but "Your tv".
They could move American Idol to Mytv and the station would still be on life support, from what I understand...

Or move it to Saturdays and make it "Saturday Night Smackdown!", giving Friday to the affiliates.

But what about "Soul Train"? Despite the good ratings they've received for the classic episodes so far (they have yet to run the 1990-93 shows), it's still on life support.

I think Fox should keep Are you smarter than a fifth grader. It's doing very well.

Actually, I put that under "RENEW".

Who said cancel lost! Best show, yes it is better than wife swap.

Well, I know 2 of my favorite will be returning: "Ugly Betty" and "30 Rock"!

However, I believe anything that My Network airs should go period.
