It seems you are misunderstood a lot, I've been reading remarks to you from others and your sometimes arrogant remarks to them.
I never addressed your motives which is a silly comment, because you actually have nothing to do with the WAY situation. It's their business. I was just re-running your previous comments.

I am aware of trademark laws. Thank you for the link. I actually have a trademark/copyright lawyer in the family.

As for my being bitter, I am a little annoyed at an ongoing situation but I am not bitter. Now YOU are really being personal and trying to presume my motives.


Life not going well for you or some personal problems which cause you to have to control everything? I sense a real prima donna attitude which probably is a cover for insecurity. Oops - I jumped into my "psych" major in college.

That's an old message we already addressed. By the WaYFM, they used to be part of WAY FM network but broke out on their own which is probably why Bob A. has been so gracious about the use of the name. He's a pretty nice guy.

My meaning to that was until you have experienced it, you probably can't believe it.

I've experienced lots of different situations at different stations and format and markets...

Your unique experience in your market may or may not be accurate. I really don't know. It's YOUR situation. And as you said, you do resent them. That is your offense, not anyone else's. But you are very quick to post this "wrong doing" and suggest others feel as you do regarding them.

But you seem to paint a broad brush over the entire EMF network because of a situation that has impacted you personally.

The implecation you make is that EMF is a bully (at the least). But you have also inferred they are evil and every single rep behaves the same. You imply EMF hurts local radio. Yet, in other posts, you praise stations and networks that do business and enter markets in very similar way.

Radio is still business. Commercial or Non Commercial, there are still ethics, laws, and standards businesses follow. And people make up businesses, so expect there to be some flaws as well. And there are ramifications to parties who participate or contribute to those flaws also.

Your personal attacks on me are offensive and entirely inaccurate. And your desire to name drop yet remain "hidden" behind your username is telling.

I have never said EMF was evil, I did mention that the rep in my area spends time thinking up evil deeds.

You are so right, radio is business. Christianity isn't just a Sunday "thing", so when doing business it should be done as we would want to be treated.

I don't know where these personal attacks are, I only see them coming from you. In defense I answer back. If my desire to remain hidden behind my username is telling, then let it tell you it's my right. There are many on this board with user names.

brings up nine panels - the original WAY-FM from Ft. Meyers, the Nashville station that is now the headquarters, and some others including the one in Ft. Collins WAY-FM that serves Denver. That is the one we are talking about. It is definitely part of the WAY-FM network.

When WAY in Michigan broke away from the Nashville network they still used the "way-fm" terminology.

1. They were too nice to sue
2. They realized they were too late to trademark

So...really it's only been an issue in Michigan....

Denver is part of the WAY Group, but not the GR stations that I mentioned, It was my mistake to begin with not doing my homework.
