What unused frequencies in your area are (or were) popular with pirates?

Here in Phoenix, 101.9 WAS the most popular until Campesina took it over. 101.9 featured, among other things:
  • Someone rebroadcasting Armin Van Buuren's A State Of Trance
  • Phoenix Jams (hip hop/R&B east and south of the airport (you could pick em up pretty good on the 143 or down at 48th St. and Baseline)
  • A great station I picked up near the 51 and Thomas which introduced me to artists like The Red Button, and Lisa Mychols
96.5 might have been a pirate at one time (I heard a Bee Gees-style version of Comfortably Numb on there); before a legal CCM station came in, followed by rimshot KIKO.

87.9 called itself "K-W-F-U-C-C", had a website even, and was the most flagrant violator, didn't censor anything and one of the announcers even said something about telling the FCC to go (do something with) themselves. I think they became a legit dance repeater.

I've also briefly picked up unknown stations on 105.7 (not KVRD, and possibly in the Higley area) and 104.9 on Greenfield Road for a few seconds, and occasionally 88.3 is overridden by Spanish.
