What Vegas station took the place of kliv vanity programing?

KLAV's still brokered for the moment. The variety of programming there is amazing. I was just listening to old airchecks of Kaibigan Saturdays, hosted by the crusty old Tea Party guy who filled his show up with Filipino music, right wing country, ranting and dead air...where was the board op?

Actually, both KLAV and KRLV will remain in their current formats. No changes are planned. The stations make money and offer a public service. So enjoy the variety of programming as nothing will be changing.

I must have tuned in when someone was playing elevator music, I thought they had changed formats.

This time of year KLAV plays a really eclectic selection of Christmas music as filler when they don't have a paid program to air--that must be what you heard. They do a great job of it, too--Christmas music you've not heard x million times! They deserve kudos for that. Jon Lindquist, are you listening?
