2nd Hypothetical Question - Outside of Madison, what WI cities / areas would be likely candidates for flipping an AM station to progressive/liberal talk?I can think of three factors that would support a flip to progressive / liberal talk: 1.) AM radio station(s) in market having trouble profit-wise and ratings-wise. 2.) Large number of AM and/or talk radio stations in market. 3.) Progressive / Liberal - past election / voting history. Some Potential WI Cities / Areas: * Green Bay / Sister Bay. * Marinette. * Manitowoc / Two Rivers * Appleton / Fox Cities * Oshkosh / Fond du Lac * Sheboygan / Northern Suburbs of Milwaukee * Janesville / Beloit * Platteville / Monroe * La Crosse * Eau Claire * Wausau / Stevens Point * Marshfield / WI Rapids.Anyone have ideas on what WI cities / areas would be good candidates for flipping an AM station to progressive/liberal talk?

You've gotta attract local advertisers to make it work.Green Bay & Sister Bay is so Republican, you'd starve.Sheboygan has a nice daytimer on 950 that could work.Fox Valley crowded with religious broadcasters taking up the airwaves, that could be used.... AM at Oshkosh, FM at Appleton, AM at Kaukauna...there's not much there that could make money... and awfully Republican.I think there's another liberal talk format on the horizon really soon, syndicatedby a company called P1 out of Cincinnati. Stay tuned.
