Whatever became of SF DJ Roger Shannon (KYA, K-Big, Star 101?)

Hi Folks:

I haven't heard Roger Shannon in a long time. He was at KYA, K-Big 98.1, and I think he was even at Star 101 or The Drive for a short time. Anyone know where he has been the last vfew years.

FWIW I've tried using the search function but can not get it work. I don't know if there something wrong with the website or my browser.

Not sure if it's the same person but KLOO 106.3 in Oregon has a Scott Shannon that was from the
bay area.

No, KLOO in Corvallis has a Roger Shannon who "came up from the Bay Area."

Scott Shannon is the ubiquitous syndicated voice of the True Oldies Channel, heard here on KFRC/1550.

The Roger Shannon on KLOO used to do mornings at KTIM / KTID in San Rafael. He was also Program Director for a while.

Nice guy - I wondered what happened to him.

Hmmm...pick one from Column A and one from column B:

COLUMN A:

Bobby
Dave
Jay
Johnny
Rick
Big Rick
Roger
Roger W
Scott

COLUMN B:

Fox
Holiday
Kelly
Lee
Martin
Michaels
Mitchell
Phillips
Stevens
Stone
Shannon

There. Jay Michaels says that 97% of the DJ names in America can be put together from these two lists. Roger Phillips agrees, but Bobby Shannon thinks this is bogus. What would Jay Stone say?

Hi Folks:

Thanks for the responses and information. Now that I think of it, Roger Shannon was never at Star 101 or The Drive. I was thinking of Clark Reid.

But Shannon was at KYA and K-Big.
