What's Happening At WSLY/WYLS In York Alabama

I was listening to those stations today and heard that the Southern Soul and Blues format was moving to 670 AM WYLS. Matter of fact, I heard that format while I was listening to 670 AM. Even heard Mr. James Lawson's talk show, from Q 104.3 Tuscaloosa, while listening to 670 AM.

What is happening at these stations? Is WSLY going to bring back Hip-Hop or are they planning on switching to something totally different? Just curious.

When I am able to listen to 670 AM, I heard a wonderful mix of Classic Oldies and Country. The mix was very unique and no one was doing it, like they did. Sad to see that mix go.

I listen to WYLS too, I pick it up on a car radio as far away as Jackson, MS, not very clear but audible. I like the old tunes they play. They play stuff nobody else will touch. hate to see it end. My only complaint, for some reason they would go off the air every day shortly after 3:30. way before sunset.
