What's up with 104.5 FM WKAK in Albany, GA?

First Media Services purchased the cluster of Albany stations, but WKAK is still airing Cumulus programming from the former NASH FM branding. Is there more to the story or will they continue to air this programming despite not being owned by Cumulus. Or will it take a while, akin to when 94.7 FM WNSH switched owners?

With out reading the sales agreement, my best guess is First Media agreed (or wanted) to continue carrying the Nash branding. If it sells well and profitable why change? From personal experience, in a lot of small markets, expense is sometimes more important than ratings. You can have a major market "sound" but if the market can not financially support it then you have an issue. On the other hand with voice tracking you do have the ability to "music" station for very little cost.
