My take: Gosh, these sure seems like comments about which music, not how it's mixed or presented!

So if a mixer cant properly transition to a song, get one who can....Lets stop and make sure you are fully understanding what im saying...We are NOT asking the mixer to play unfamiliar music, we want a mixer to play WHAT (I.E. FAMILIAR MUSIC) he plays PROPERLY. There are standards set for a proper mix-they should be FOLLOWED.

IF a PD is going to control the music, he should (AS WELL) HOLD standards as to HOW he plays it.

A PD isnt going to put a person who "Stutters" or "Rambles On" as part of the On Air Staff, Why hire a mixer who cant mix properly.....???

And speaking of a PD, apparently someone complained to the PD or the PD saw this post....there has been some IMPROVEMENT in the mixes.....
so time wasnt wasted.......

You're joking, right? You really think it's because of your posts?

<sigh>

Never mind, just not worth it.
To respond to your claims......
1st off, those was OPINIONS, based on favorite shows on radio...The mixer comments was the real focus of this post and more CRITICAL on delivery of the mixers....Big difference, Sir.....

It must have been worth it.... You took all this time to rebute with better care and quotations.....nice effort though......

I didnt say it was my post entirely...I said "apparently" which comes from "apparent" see below

Main Entry: ap·par·ent
Pronunciation: \ə-ˈper-ənt, -ˈpa-rənt\
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French apparant, from Latin apparent-, apparens, present participle of apparēre to appear
Date: 14th century
5 : manifest to the senses or mind as real or true on the basis of evidence that may or may not be factually valid <the air of spontaneity is perhaps more apparent than real .....

*Le Sigh*
Now I ask YOU are YOU joking??
Comprehension is a learned Skill..... Not "luck of the draw", Mr Business man......

Getting back to the original question. My favorite station is WNWI. I think their music mixes are great on the Eddie Blazenchek Show on Sundays.

It is literally a wall of music except for the travel and funeral home adds.
