WHB "The Farm" 810 kHz Kansas City, MO 28 September 1998

In 1998, WHB Kansas City was a simulcast of KMZU Carrollton, MO. At this time WHB had swapped frequencies with KCMO, moving from 710 to 810 kHz. Living in St. Louis, the 810 frequency has reasonable coverage in eastern Missouri especially before sunset, just prior to their pattern change.

In the fall of 1998 I was in the Kansas City area and rolled tape on WHB/KMZU. This is 90 minutes of one of the recordings I made from WHB from 28 September 1998, divided into three segments. The files are 192/44.1 and can be found at these links:

Thanks. I love airchecks, particularly when they are just someone hit record on the tape player. I used to do that a lot but have lost most of the tapes.
