When 105.1 or 107.7 or 93.9 flip to talk i hope it will be like 790 wwky was

I bet it will be 105.1 but i hope it will be like wwky 790 use to be with denton randall doing mornings and you had dr fox in the afternoons a good mix of liberal and conservative talk and local and syndicated programming but i doubt they will do that whicj is a shame.Maybe they would pick up dr drews radio show or stephanie miller or ed schultz. I would be happy with one non conservative talk show.

Thats whom i think will be flipping and what i hope it sounds like.

Why would you think it would be 105.1 ? WLRS isn't going anywhere. Its a legend radio station here in Louisville. That would be like them removing 84 WHAS from the AM dial.

I rarely cackle out loud at anything posted on here, but I made an exception this time.

Well because it is a loser station that makes no money flat in the ratings and legenday cmon dude that is not lrs it is lrs in name only.

Noone cares if it goes away. I hope it does i would like to see something worth listening to at 105.1 and even though i am not conservative in my views i would rather see a conservative talk station there then what they have now.105.1 in its present form is wasted bandwith no ifs ands or buts.

Even though 105.1 is not a good signal i bet it would be easier to sell as a talk station then what they have now.

I sure hope this was meant as sarcasm, lol. I worked at LRS when it was at 102.3 and what they have now at 105.1, well...

I think you're confusing WHAS with WLOU.

LRS is to Classic Coke, what New LRS is to New Coke :)

I don't know if this means anything... but WLRS was broadcasting in "glorious" mono sound and not stereo this evening.

I remember a week before 93.9 The Ticket changed to classic hits, they started broadcasting in Stereo.

Yeah, but you don't switch to mono a week before you flip to talk.

They were having trouble with the Max yesterday after the storm, and the STL hop between Marmaduke and the 400 building is shared by more than one station.

My guess is that they are sharing some STL facilities. Are any of the OTHER Mainline stations in mono?

one more right wing hack for another right wing hack. when are we going to get a regular left leaning show on the air in progressive democratic louisville?

MAINLINE needs to be making more money than what they are currently looking at. A talk station can bring in instant dollars and it covers a relative conservative area on 105.1

No one will listen to a liberal hack in Louisville. Just ask Alan Colmes.
