When does the new season of Price is Right start?

Personally, I think that when it comes Bob's time to go, they should bring "Game Show Marathon" to daytime. I know the debate about whether there should be a single host or multiple ones and whether they should use civilians or celebs has been argued to death on this board, but "GSM" could work if done right. I just don't think CBS should continue TPIR as a daily show. Now matter how good a host is brought in, they will always be compared to Barker. I'd love to see a roaster of about 10-15 game shows that get rotated in and out every few months. It's a long shot, but I know I'd watch.

I disagree.
I believe *any* gameshow that involves the words "The actual retail price" throughout the gameshow is what will work for the price is right timeslot.
If that means that the price is right is still the only option, then so be it.
PIR is the *Best* way to get the word out of new products, and some classics without leaving the viewer feeling like they're watching an infomercial or something.
I hope the businesses that show their products throughout the show are paying the network well.

Personally, I was never a big Price is Right fan. I've always liked game shows that gave away mostly money and cars. But I do see where it's considered a classic since it's the longest running game show and the only one remaining in network daytime, and I hope it will last as long as possible, even after Bob Barker leaves the show. I'd rather see ANY game show than most of the other garbage that is on daytime TV now!
