When is Dave Walker and Lois Hart's last day at KCRA channel 3 for 5 pm news

hey guys, just wondering when Dave Walker and Lois Hart's last news cast is on KCRA channel 3 is for the 5pm newscast ?? does anyone know ??

Well some cool things I heard about them, they are married and they are each others co host, they are great and they know each otther as husband and wife but they are a great on air team and they pick each other up on air.

I heard they were at CNN, and Larry King used to be their friend he even gave them a shout out on the tv !!

Well just wondering when there last day is? I want to tell Dave and Lois Congratulation on your great careers, you are Sacramento celeberties, thank you for coming in our home and giving us the news cast. !!

I hope I meet Dave Walker and Lois Hart one day and get their autograph !! I'm a fan of you guys if you are reading this .

Also does any one know Dave Walker and Lois Hart's plans? are they going to travel ? how will they spend their time away from tv ? now ? Who will be the new KCRA channel 3 hosts of the news ?? I bet those are big shoes to fill !!

To answer your question, Dave and Lois' final newscast will be a week from today which is the day before Thanksgiving at 5 PM and 6:30 PM's newscasts. The 11 PM Newscast with former KIRO 7 morning/noon anchor Gulstan Dart and Edie Lambert will be a special dedication to Dave/Lois' 18 years as KCRA 3 anchors. I plan to DVD record this and make this available for trade at my website http://www.angelfire.com/wizard2/ptburgos

Not only did they sign CNN 'on the air', they also co-anchored KOVR (ABC at the time) news.

Yes she did. She was there for a while before they went to CNN. She really benefitted from the make over that KCRA did on as well. When she was the weekend anchor at KOVR her hair makeup and clothing was sort of plain. I was told that Channel 3 always sent their new people to some kind of make over consultant to spiff them up, but I could've had smoke blown at me on that. But there was a great difference in her look between KOVR & KCRA. As I recall when they married in Sacramento the wedding was pretty high profile with Joan Lunden (formerly KCRA’s Joanie Blunden) flying in from New York. As a side note, CNN had more than one husband & wife anchoring team but Dave & Lois were the team who signed the network on. He’s 67 years old now and Lois is 58, so I guess they’ve earned their retirement. They did their last shift tonight.
