When small wonder is a success on dvd, they should bring it back on tv

shout factory has Small wonder season 1 is coming to dvd next month, and i used to watch it alot on tv in the mid 90s, hopefully they can have the same kind of success on dvd, like family guy did when it became successful on dvd and cable, now any cable network like tv land, ION tv or even adult swim (they used to air saved by the bell and pee wee's playhouse for a short time). or also back in syndication (like saved by the bell or star trek reruns). Hopefully Trifecta or Debmar-mercury or even 20th television(who distributes the show) can bring this show back to syndication, if it can be a big hit on dvd. :) any thoughts

Gimme a break... You're suggesting that, should this show happen to sell well on DVD, that it experiences a "Family guy"-esque renaissance and return to TV?

I'm sure all the cast members are all onto bigger and better things - maybe even leaving acting altogether and joining the political field... That is, if all of them are still alive, and even that, I'm not so sure... Does any of the cast members even have "household name" value, outside of Christie?

I guess what I'm saying is... enjoy your DVD.

I looked up the series on Wikipedia and I wasn't familar with the names of any of regular cast members and only reconized two names fo recurring characters from the show (Edie McClure and Alice Ghostley). I remember the show when it was first syndicated in the mid to late '80's and I thought it was pretty stupid show, as were most of the syndicated first run sitcoms back then were (She's the Sheriff, What's Happening Now, Momma's Family, all the TBS and CBN first run sitcoms, etc.). I just don't imagine that many people will even remember the show now.

As a side note, I was in college when "Small Wonder", "She's the Sheriff", "Momma's Family", et al, were in first run syndication, so I was a bit older than what their target audience was.

I watched the show as kid, and actually liked it very much...don't know exactly why I did, but I watched it. In this day of age, some 21 years since Small Wonder left the air, I don't think I could sit and watch it again, and even enjoy it. It was pretty much a kid's show to begin with, and a cheap and cheesy one at that. I don't see Small Wonder making a return to TV anytime soon...or else some network would have picked it up already. In fact, I thought it would have been a perfect fit on TV Land's old weekend late-night "Kitschen" block from earlier last decade.
