When will kost flip to all Christmas 🎄🎄 music?

You greatly overestimate the average Walmart shopper's level of interest in the music playing in the store, and overestimate even more Walmart corporate's giving a crap about what their customers think about Christmas music. Maybe a wrong button was pushed on that oh so traumatic September day. Maybe the glitch got fixed right after you left the store. Whatever the case, I seriously doubt phone lines in Bentonville were overloaded with complaints.
You don't know the A-Holes that live in the town like I do. It's basically the place all Karens go to when they die. They probably lit up the store manager or workers about it. And I'm one of the ones that pay attention to the music they play. Heard many a tune that I haven't heard in decades popping up lately. Not sure who programs Walmart "radio" but I'd like to meet the PD.

Oh, and I know they don't give a crap about their customers or their employees.

Start here, maybe?

The KOST changeover has recently been affiliated with the Disney Festival of Holidays at Disneyland,
as mentioned by Mr. Kramer in Post #5 of this thread.
This year's "Festival" start date is Friday, November 10, 2023, matching up with
the previously mentioned 2022 start date on the second Friday in November (in Post #27).

PPM Survey Period Schedule for Nov-Dec-Holiday 2023:

November 2023: Thu. October 12 – Wed. November 8
December 2023: Thu. November 9 – Wed. December 6
Holiday 2023: Thu. December 7 – Wed. January 3

It could be as early as November 1st, given that sister station WLIT-93.9 Chicago flipped on November 1st last year and supposedly saw an immediate ratings spike.

I-Heart may decide to do multiple Christmas flips around the country on November 1st, given how successful WLIT was with an early flip last year.

And a November 1st flip would be well before Disneyland begins their holiday season.
Probably on certain stations like Mix 100.7, Kiss 98.1, Magic 96.5, and MOViN 107.7 @ 4 or 5 pm. MOViN could decide to do it at Midnight though so you'd never really know.

Do any FM stations ever flip to ho-ho-ho at midnight or elsewhere in the graveyard shift? SiriusXM does so, for its own peculiar reasons, but it seems to me that FM broadcasters would prefer that the millions of 25-44 charge-card-maxing females who wait all year for Nat and Burl and Bing to return to be awake and listening at the moment their market's Christmas station dons its, ummm, "festive" apparel, wouldn't you?

Most don’t but some do on Nov 1. K103 and KOST 103.5 never done the graveyard shift and never have either doing it in the morning or afternoon rush hour.

3 a.m. Eastern (midnight Pacific) is the usual start/stop time for most of SXM's pop-up channels, channel takeovers or holiday flips.I'm in the Eastern zone and have never heard any changes/new channels at midnight.

WLTW in New York usually does the Friday before Thanksgiving though for a couple of years they did 2 Fridays for Thanksgiving. They did that in 2019 and 2020. I think they did that in 2020 though due to the Pandemic as it would have probably flipped on November 20th if there was no Pandemic. I think in 2019 it was just cause the Friday before Thanksgiving was later in November being November 22nd.
