Where in NYC Can a Country Station Be Heard Reliably?

I'm on the 3rd highest land point in NYC and many flights up. I'm lucky I can pull in Party 105 from Long Island where I'm at (my terrace faces east). At the south.....nothing except WFAF.

Since you live at a high point in the Bronx, you may receive both WDHA and Kicks (WDBY) on 105.5, depending which way you point the antenna.
I can pull in WDHA but I can't get Kicks. I'll try tonight and play around with the radio in different directions.

K104 is Top 40 why would they have country? For me I can somewhat pick up 94.3 or 97.3 but I get interference from Hot 97. I can sorta get WRWD but BLS bleeds in. 106.3 I basically get a mix of Max 106.3 and FAF or PDH and even BLI in there. I can barely even get Thunder.
For listeners in the Bronx, Manhattan and parts of Queens and Brooklyn, WFDU-FM at 89.1-mhz offers a variety of country music and bluegrass programs throughout the week, although it isn't a full time country station.
I listened to a couple of hours of country Christmas music on WFDU earlier today. It was good stuff by major country artists.

I know this goes a while back, but driving home from Marist during my college days, K-104 ALWAYS remained in the car from Poughkeepsie to the Bronx along Route 9. I lost 94.3 (when it was WBPM- B-94) just south of the Dutchess/Putnam county line.
I live on Ave H near Ocean pkwy----I get thunder quite well on two radioes.In the car, the gospel station on 106.3 kills thunder except near ground zero/Brighton Beach/Coney Island.I tape it--in mono-and play it in my car.Those darn pirates hurt THE BREEZE as well!!!!!

I usually can't pick up WWYZ at all until I get north of the Stamford/Norwalk area. WXTU wouldn't cause any problem in the Bronx - their signal pretty much fades out completely around exit 10 on the NJ Turnpike, which is at least 30 miles south of the Bronx.

WALK HD2 on 97.5 FM out of Long Island, is jockless. But they seem to play a wider variety of country music. Perhaps this station can be received in parts of Queens. It comes in well in some of southern Westchester County.
