Which New York Top 40 station will be the first to play Ashlee Dupree's song?

Which New York Top 40 station will be the first to play Ashlee Dupree's song?

22 year old Ashlee Dupree AKA Kristen was Gov. Eliot Spitzer's companion. She moved to New York from the Jersey Shore to become a Pop/Rhythmic star but ended up doing other things to support herself.

News station WCBS-AM plays her song when talking about her. The song sounds pretty good. Sorta in the Rhianna school. The song is on Ashlee/Kristen's MYSpace Page.

I hope Pulse 87 jumps on it before Z-100 or KT-Dont know what to do.

Maybe they'll play it on Power 105.1 like the music from her uncle, Jermaine Dupree. ::)

I'd be suprised if any station were to give these songs regular rotation in their current state. Yes, songs. Check out this link where she sings more about the things you'd think she'd be singing about: http://myemergeagency.com/members/248/

There is cursing in one song so be aware.

That said, if I was giving her career advice I'd tell her to get these things up on iTunes yesterday. People will drop $.99 cents out of curiosity right now. 2 Weeks from now, not so much.

My professional opinion is that these are nothing more than decent demos.

I think the question we should really be asking is, which skin mag will pay her the most when the dust settles?

I think we have a winner, Z100. Played it this afternoon.

Also found out that she lives right down the block from the office, as evidenced by the 50 cameramen waiting for the money shot. ;)

Earth to Anyone who might be Listening:

Her music career didn't work out and she became a prostitute for a reason.

Shows no class. I expected more than jumping on the bandwagon from Z-100.
I bet they researched and tested the song as thoroughly as they do all their songs.
Yeah right... :-\

Although, you gotta find it kind of ironic that it was Spitzer's office who, after the Entercom payola debacle, set new standards for radio stations and their music submission rules. It's true! Hehehe....

THEY PLAYED IT FOE THE SAME REASON THEY PLAYED PARIS HILTON. IT'S POP CULTURE, TOP OF MIND. IT WILL NOT BE IN ROTATION...BUT LITTLE YOU KNOW..THEY RESEARCH ALL OF THEIR SONGS...YOU ARE MISTAKEN IF YOU THINK OTHERWISE

FOR THAT REASON ALONE, THEY SHOULD PLAY HER SONG 100 TIMES PER WEEK. EAT CROW SPITZ BABY

Why do you call it the "ENTERCOM" payola debacle?

Yes, because we all know the mighty Pulse 87 was breathing down their neck pressuring to play it first! :D

Heck, I wrote Dupre! Told her to get a remixed version out! Well...she's er ahhhh...BUSY at the moment. The way they're hyping her all over the place she'll have a TV series soon enough ::)
