Western Mass. Which radio station in the Commonwealth Of Massachusetts will the next radio station to change its format next?

What I'm saying is that Cumulus should think of doing power upgrades or transmitter moves for WORC-FM and WWFX, considering their rather weak ranges.

Do you really think that if power upgrades were possible for those stations, they wouldn't have been made at some point along the way?

WWFX upgraded as much as it could with its last move, which significantly improved its signal to the east almost all the way to 128. It is limited beyond that by several short spacings, including WQRC, WHEB and WZLX.

WORC-FM is even more limited by WBZ-FM and WPLM.

Basically, the two are pretty much stuck between a rock and a hard place.

An obvious solution would be to deploy translators (given HD Radio's lack of availability if you don't have a more recent car)

What makes you think open frequencies for translators are even available in such an over-radioed part of the country?
