There are already whispers of change in the Nashville Talk landscape:
- Fred Thompson will host a daily show for Westwood One as a replacement for Bill O'Reilly. Whereas the Nospinster never really caught on here, WW1 is already busy fielding calls from the 615 area code.
- Steve Gill is set to host a new show for Radio America, 2 - 5 p.m. CT.
- SuperTalk's website is sitting empty, as it has for several days now.
- Citadel's ABC Radio Networks have added some heavy-hitting national talkers. WW1 has a huge stable of big names that aren't heard locally. All syndicates are in building mode, looking for the next big audience grabber. So there's a lot of content out there, which brings us to the final bullet...
- Feelers are being put out locally as to the viability of a third commercial talker!
