WHO ARE THE BEST PD'S IN SA AND WHY?WHAT MAKES THEM GOOD?IF YOU COULD BRING A PD BACK TO A STATION OR SAN ANTONIO WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

beats pd is deserving..cindy hill..few know how much work she has really put in!!!im inpressed with mix new pd..travetto...seems to not be the usual CC conservative pd...mix shows, new music, on air attacks on z and the beat

jury is still out on travettocindy c is getting a b- as all she has to do is maintain what jd builtdoug bennett....well....no comment

I say as far as old school Pd's the best was Cliff Treadway (Janitor). He had KTFM flowing for years. Too bad we won't have that anytime soon. This is why Cindy Hill is good as a Pd. Because she learned from one of the best. Always remember it's easy to become number one, but it's hard to stay there.

One of the Top 3 PD's I've ever worked for is Robert John....I've never worked for him in S.A., but he was absolutely the best thing about my 2 years at STAR 101 in Orlando, FL. Fair, Honest, and a great Teacher.Jon-David WellsFearless Broadcaster

Crash Kelly had Mix sounding better than it has in years. At least they did local promotions and didn't sound so canned. Although I have to admit Travatto has made a big improvement to what the last PD did to it. I agree Janitor was very good, but I have to give props to Rick Upton as well, he did a great job with KTFM back in the day. Leo Caro had Super Q sounding pretty good, but the ratings sucked.

I think Brian White (POWER 93), CATFISH (92.9 KITY), and Cliff Treadway were all good in there times...I think the BEAT is a cookie cutter station...just like all the rest.I think SA radio is at an all time horrible low, but then again that is radio now.Nothing new, and the rehashed stuff isn't even executed very well. That is what happens when corporations take out the human/local/fun elements of radio.I truly believe they do not care if anyone listens at all.At least in the old days they still sold numbers, now they sell vanity to clients who are tooo dumb to know the diff.
