WHO ELSE REFUSES TO WATCH TV LAND'S 35 MINUTE SHOWS WITH 50%+ COMMERCIALS

And with ME-TV and Antenna-TV, you get about half of TV Land's lineup.

It seems that all three basically show a roster of 8-12 programs ad nauseum. A few weeks ago, the TV Land weekly schedule was comprised entirely of about 6 programs.

Yeah, I agree, there seem to be atleast 12 shows on Me Tv, perhaps a few more. I would only offer that perhaps 12 or so shows is about right, as in show the best you can, and maybe platoon others in and out, much like radio does with older product.

Sorry TV LAND but those expanded shows you are showing with expanded commercials
(17 minutes of commercials, 18 of show) are not being seen in my house. Even if it is a
good show that I like, I refuse to watch them.

Insert "Comedy Central" for "TV Land" in this post, too.

VH1 has their 5 minute set of ad's.Ok time to go to the ice box,and hit the can.Come back and still have a minute or two to go.Will it's their bread and water to pay their bills.

And considering that commercials now make up half a program, it's also their heroin -- they're addicted to them and they're turning off the people that depend on them most.

True. On many of those channels it's good to have a B channel to watch 5 minutes of
something else while those extended commercials are on.

The ONLY show I DVR TV Land for is All in the Family; and I emphasize ONLY! and only the first couple of seasons, those were classic. Surprisingly the program grid on our local Time Warner is showing the extended length, but I add a half-hour anyway.

I too have given up on TV WASTELAND. However, I have started buying DVD collections of some of those shows. What a clever way to make me buy something, by ruining it on TV.

LOL, and I thought I was the only one who did that! Yeah, have a "jump" channel ready while watching TVland. I do it all the time. It is usually CNN, but can be others depending on what is going on. I hope TVland gets the message, (as do their advertisers) , that this goes on most likely on a large scale.

I think most people channelflip all through shows these days. It's not like there's families gathering around to watch a program they've eagerly anticipated all week any more, at least not in any circles I run in, it's usually a couple people watching whatever's on, and usually it's not that good, so there's Channel B-Channel ZZ2, depending on whether they have cable/sat or not.

All in the Family is on Antenna TV each night now.

I dont bother watching or recording from this channel or other cable channels to the matter.Tired of the editing. littered screen of popup graphics and smushed end credits. Most of those old shows are online complete to watch .

the other night i watched an hour of mash and an hour of dick van dyke on tv land.each episode started on the hour or half hour.this was from 6pm to 8 pm i think.
