Another thread on this board got me to thinking about TV stars from the past that you used to see all over the tube [and kudos goes to "Murder She Wrote" for using a LOT of the old timers].....of the ones that are still alive, who would you like to see more of on the tube? For me:

Stan Freberg. [known mostly for his advertising and his radio shows but he did do TV]. I saw him a few times on Roseanne and it was "must watch" TV for me. Sadly haven't seen much of him since then.

June Lockhart. [Also appeared on "Roseanne"] Same, she seems to have disappeared.

I know I have more but it's getting late and I can't think of them right now so anybody else feel free to chime in.

I wouldn't put either Larry Hagman or Jim Nabors on the "alive & well" list as both had some serious health issues in recent years. Though not on your list, sadly its the same with Larry Storch as well. Maybe its still on You Tube but last year I saw a clip of him on there. One minute telling jokes, next minute cussing everyone out. Kind of reminds me of the current state of Peter Falk.

Several years ago I can remember Vicki Lawrence appearing at some club in New Mexico, maybe it was a casino doing stand-up in as Mama Thelma Harper. At the time Ken was in the same town and of course Vicki wanted her TV son Vint to join her on stage. It was reported in the USA Today at the time where Ken Berry not only did he refuse to help out Vicki but he was quite blunt, that he is now retired.

Linda Lavin and Tom Bosley are starring in that new Jennifer Lopez flick "The Back-Up Plan", due to hit theatres on April 23.

Other than commercials for juvenile diabetes, I'd like to see Mary Tyler Moore on TV again. She hasn't been on TV that much since The Mary Tyler Moore Show went off the air. She has been in a few made for TV movies & Annie McGuire. Other than that, not much from her.

Betty White for a TV show.

All the people I listed I'd love to see back on tv in series. Larry Hagman is rumored along with Linda Gray to be in the new Dallas series that will supposedly be Dallas: The Next generation. I'm not sure how solid the rumors are on this. I know Larry lost his wife recently and has had health problems but he acted in two Dallas reunion movies since he had his health problems.

Jim Nabors lives near where I live, tours still and just put on his annual christmas shows at the Hawaii Theater where he performed 4 shows over a weekend, so he's in better health than some might think.

I love Larry Storch but he hasnt looked very good in a number of years!

I could be wrong but I believe Hall is still on TV...only in Palm Springs, California though. I know there is a street named after him in that area but I could have sworn reading on this site ( maybe it was Radio-insight ) where someone had made a claim that Hall does local TV ads for a number of businesses in the Palm Springs market.

...a couple of folks from obscure past shows that I know nobody else will recall would be Marcie Barkin (Please Stand By) and Corinne Bohrer (E/R, Free Spirit, Man of the People). I know that Bohrer did a recurring bit on Veronica Mars and still pops up on commercials, but I think her comic talents were never quite used properly on any series. Florence Henderson pitches "The Best of The Dean Martin Variety Show" infomercials and has her own show on "Retirement Living TV Network."
Vicki Lawrence does her "Mama" gig in Branson.
Tim Conway on tour doing a one man retrospective including "Dorf" and "The Old Man".
Bob Newhart does a similar gig which sells out 2-3,000 seat halls around the country.
Robert Wagner does reverse mortgage infomercials. He's on his third as the two previous companies have gone under.

Robert Fuller ( Dr. Bracket ) according to IMDB lives in Texas and pretty much gave up acting at least in front of the camera anyway but has been known to pop up online whenever Emergerncy is discussed.

Ron Pinkard ( Dr. Morton ) is currently employed with the Denver, Colorado film office. IMDB even has his office number posted.

Everyone else from Emgerency is either deceased ( Julie London & Bobby Troup ) or had long since gave up acting and/or totally disappeared such as Tim Donnelly ( Chet Kelly ).

Randolph Mantooth and Kevin Tighe (Emergency!)

Kevin Tighe is still acting, he did ABC's "Lost" just a few years ago.

Kevin Tighe is also a staple in a lot of feature films, usually playing a authority figure or a villian, in such movies as "Road House", "Eight Men Out", "Another 48 Hours", "K-9" and the remake of "Escape from Witch Mountain", among others.

If you check out Kevin Tighe on IMBD, you will find that Kevin Tighe is as busy the last few years as he ever has been, appearing in "Lost", "Numbers", etc.

Yes - Tighe had a good multi-episode recuring role on Lost as John Locke's absent father, who re-appears in John's life just to manipulate John into donating a kidney to him. In a later episode (post-kidney) John goes to see his father after he's shut off all communication...all he wanted was the kidney. Tighe then pushes John out a high-rise window, turning him into a paraplegic. Very evil guy.

I've seen Mantooth in a number of guest shots. He's gotten quite distinguished looking as an older guy.

As far as "Little House", Alison Arngrim showed up on "I Love The 70's" on VH1, and Karen Grassle is doing some sort of old people stuff commercial...Melissa Gilbert was president of the Screen Actors Guild some years ago.

The last Angel I can remember seeing anywhere is Tanya Roberts, as Donna's mom on "That 70's Show". She also did those annoying "LAs Vegas Is Calling" radio ads.
