Let's put one thing in perspective... Rick and Jen had ONE down book. That's it. Anyone else here ever have a down book? There were also some severe technical challenges during the month of May (worst month of the Spring book by a mile) that the posters on this board may not be aware of. Rick is right, Jen is an A+ talent, so is he. Does anyone remember how long it took Chris Daniel to pull dominant numbers? A couple of years (ironically about the time Jen arrived)... and the Front Row didn't have to go up against an established syndicated show until they themselves were established. The Front Row had about a 4 year head start on Howard Stern and Bob and Tom and obviously were amazingly successful. Imagine though if Howard Stern had been in the market for 15 years and then the Front Row came along. Tough battle to say the least despite the considerable talent level on that show. Anyone can spout the phrase "the morning show doesn't pull ratings" but it doesn't tell the entire story. It takes time to build a successful morning show in this market. One year isn't close to enough time.
