Okay, I have been out of the radio biz for nearly 10 years, I would guess most of you in here are still in it. From what I remember the money was in females 25-54 not males. Curious from all of you that have access to a book, who won females 25-54? Since I fit in that category, I feel it necessary to give my opinion.

1. I listen to Rick and Bubba, for a bit. Can't usually listen too long, especially when the conversation goes to sports...ugh. I like the Rivers music after R&B are gone. Do not care for the R&B music hour, please just make it the R&B station if thats all you have!
2. Haven't listened to Star 99.1 in about a year, I hate hearing the heavy breathing over the mic, whenever the male host is exhaling.
3. I was pretty loyal to DRM (love country music), but cannot take Dingo. I'm sure he is a nice man, but does not have what it takes to compete in this market. Maybe overnights in South Dakota some where. I also don't enjoy the rest of the day on DRM. Todd Berry was enjoyable, what happened to him? There also used to be a great gal on mid-days...no more. So now I get most of my country music fix from the Wolf. More music and more variety for sure, don't care about the morning show, just enjoy the music.
4. I tried listening to that Fish guy when he first came and I found him to be repulsive. One of the reasons I moved my family here was for the conservative family values, he is a disgrace. That was when he first took over for R & B so maybe he has cleaned it up. I am also active in the community as is my husband and I have never seen or heard him out helping the less fortunate.
5. I have not listened much since summer vacation started but I also frequent ZYP. I hate the music, but my kids like it. Mojo is a decent family man, and I know there won't be anything vulgar coming across the air waves. I would say in the past 3 years that I have been here, he has done more in the community than the rest of the radio peronalities combined. I don't listen all the time and I have heard him doing the bike thing with Marines, helping the families of the officers killed in Hsv, Juvenile Diabetes, speaking at churches and schools, hospital fundraisers, Childrens Miracle Network, some lady who died with no insurance in Athens, literally this list could go on all day.
6. My dial is probably on VNN more than anything right now, but after November that may (or may not) change. I LOVE that I can get it on FM now woohoo!!! Yes I am a bit of a geek, but a very well informed geek.
So, best morning show, depends on my mood and if I am alone or with my kids. Just my 2 cents. ( I am disappointed that several of you who have met Rick say he is a butt-head...not very Christian of him)
